They benefit from the support of Infrastructure Partners, boasting a portfolio exceeding US$30 billion in Assets Under Management. Having just secured their second round of funding, they are in a phase of rapid expansion, transitioning from a startup to a significant growth stage.

This position will initially be a remote role until an entity is established in SA, once established the position will be adjusted to a hybrid position.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment or finance.
Strong financial and investment-focused background.
High proficiency in MS Excel and advanced financial modelling ability.
Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Proven ability to manage multiple competing tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Prior experience working in the renewable energy sector is preferable.
Understanding of financial KPIs, investment lifecycle, and renewable energy concepts.
Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently.
Track record of effectively managing competing priorities to meet deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and analyze Discounted Cashflow Models to evaluate investment opportunities in renewable energy projects. This includes projecting future cash flows and determining present values to assess potential returns.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to interpret, share, and review modelling outputs. Facilitate discussions to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the financial implications of investment decisions.
Gather and evaluate financial and operational data to assess the feasibility and profitability of various investment opportunities.
Evaluate the financial viability of different investment opportunities, considering factors such as risk, return potential, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Prepare investment documentation, including investment proposals, financial reports, and presentations, to support the investment approval process.
