**HOUSEHOLD MANAGER**

A bustling family is looking to add an **experienced Personal Assistant** to their team. This position requires a versatile professional who can manage diverse responsibilities, provide support to staff, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the workplace by meeting needs as they arise.

Much of the **work will be self-directed and there is a high expectation of a proactive approach**. Duties will also include **Household Assistant** **duties** as they do need an extra set of hands around the household to help with their daily routine.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee the maintenance and coordination of office equipment / supplies including stationery inventory
- Basic accounting duties - Petrol / diesel monitoring and log books
- Liaising with Home affairs
- Handle insurance claims
- Basic HR duties - Staff leave
- Assist with fundraisers
- Manage inventory of office and kitchen supplies.
- Build and maintain relationships with office vendors.
- Travel arrangements
- Assist in coordinating childcare extracurricular activities.
- Run errands as requested.
- Dry cleaning drop off/pick up
- Reporting of issues and/or breakdowns of appliances
- Straightening up / tidying up living and working spaces, closets and bedrooms
- Manage transportation for children after school to activities
- Possible other projects and responsibilities
- organize and maintain order in supply closets and other storage areas
- Identify and coordinate after-school programming, and on-going educational activities
- Birthday gifts, etc

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience with older school-age children
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong ethical boundaries, professionalism and work ethic
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to the family's needs and routines.
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must have a matric / grade 12 certificate

**SCHEDULE**:
Monday-Friday: Flexible hours but ideally 11:00 tot 18:30
