**The Job Specification**:
This position will be in the Technical Support department and is a customer liaison/service position. This position will especially suit applicants with background or education in electrical studies, hardware or software and enjoy dealing with people and working in a team.
- Handling all queries regarding functionality of the various meters.
- Troubleshoot technical problems
- Identify external factors that may affect the functioning of the meter
- Discuss information related to electricity purchases
- Clarifying information on tariffs
- Assist customers with any other issues they may have
- Escalate issues that need to be handled by other departments

**Requirements**:

- Completed matric
- Analytical and have problem solving skills
- Exceptional people skills with an ability to provide outstanding telephonic service
- Proof of technical inclination (some form of technical studies or some form of previous experience)
- Excellent written and verbal communications in English
- Computer literate in Google Suite

**Training & Development**:
This role will include internal training on company systems, policies and procedure. You will need to pass all training in order to manage this role.

**Shifts**:
This role has shift work which includes rotations on daily and weekend hours

Overtime will be required, as applicable

**Start**: Immediate

**Locatio**n: Fairland/Northcliff

**Remuneration**: R6,000.00 + overtime (if and when any applicable)

**Remote working requirements**:
The company does offer remote working which is dependent on the position held and is always at the discretion of Management

- Processor Minimum Requirements - Intel i5 or Ryzen AMD 5
- WIFI - with uninterrupted supply

This is a paid internship for applicants with background or education in electrical studies, hardware or software and enjoy dealing with people and working in a team.
The internship is for 6 months with possibility to extend or enter into a junior position for successful interns.

**Requirements**:

- Must have matric
- Must be analytical and have problem solving skills
- Must have great people skills
- Must have some proof of technical inclination (some form of technical studies or some form of previous experience)
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications in English
- Must be computer literate (able to type at reasonable speed, accuracy, able to work fluently with basic excel, and fluent at least in MS Word)
- Must be able to work in shifts, including weekends while latest shift ending 22:00
