Senior Lecturer: Agricultural Extension

Eastern Cape, Alice Campus

Minimum Requirements:

- A Doctoral degree in Agricultural
- At least 5 years of Teaching experience at a tertiary institution.
- Research experience supported by a publication record in DHET-accredited journals commensurate with the level of Senior Lecturer.
- Successful graduation of post-graduate students and evidence of attracting research funding.

**Duties**:

- Teach undergraduate and Honours courses in Agricultural Extension and any other courses assigned by the Head of the Department.
- Participate in regular recurriculation of modules or programme reviews.
- Develop research within the area of Agricultural Extension and rural/agricultural development.
- Attract research funding.
- Supervise Honours, Master’s, and Doctoral students.
- Participate in community engagement.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
