**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team of artisans in crafting high-end furniture pieces and custom fixtures. As an Upholsterer at Refined Shopfitters, you will play a crucial role in the production process, working with a diverse range of materials to create upholstered furniture that reflects our commitment to excellence and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:

- Upholster a variety of furniture pieces including sofas, chairs, benches, and ottomans using traditional and modern techniques.
- Cut, sew, and attach fabric, leather, or other materials to furniture frames with precision and care.
- Ensure that each piece meets quality standards and specifications, paying close attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Collaborate with designers, carpenters, and other craftsmen to bring custom furniture designs to life.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tools and equipment, to ensure efficiency and safety.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an Upholsterer, preferably in a high-end furniture or custom fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in a variety of upholstery techniques, including but not limited to, hand-stitching, tufting, and buttoning.
- Knowledge of different upholstery materials and their appropriate uses.
- Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
