**Warranty administrator**

**Based in Randburg**

**Job role**:
The Warranties Administrator provides an efficient warranty claims process to support the business. He/she also assists with time-sensitive information reports and responds to queries within a reasonable timeframe with the aim of consistently delivering outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work effectively and efficiently on a wide variety of tasks within the warranties area with the intention of helping the campaign meet its corporate objectives.
- Manage and process all warranty-related paperwork effectively and efficiently.
- Manage warranties workload effectively, in response to requests from colleagues and manager.
- Record, check and process all claim information in line with the campaigns terms and conditions.
- Investigate, query unsettled or short paid claims and assess their causes.
- Help to ensure a customer-satisfying level of service in respect of warranty work performed.
- Explain warranty conditions and procedures to customers to avoid misunderstanding and conflict.
- Ensure that correct charges are made as appropriate on goodwill claims.
- Help ensure efficient progress of warranty jobs through the warehouse.
- Circulate new and up-to-date warranty information and literature for new Samsung products and repair procedures.
- Liaise with manufacturer's/concessionaire's representatives to ensure that explanations are given for work undertaken where appropriate. Assist the manufacturer's/concessionaire's warranty auditors in reviewing the Campaigns records.

**Qualifications**:

- Matric

**Experience**:

- Samsung Function related experience: 1-2 years
- Other experience:

- Administrative experience
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Numerate and literate, with competent written and oral communication skills
