**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Grade 12 & Full N2 with relevant trade theory or
- Technical Matric with relevant trade theory
- Millwright trade certificate. Completed POE for Section 26D trade certificate
- Level 2 & 3 Supervisory skills or Junior Leadership program
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
- Medical fitness

**SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**
- 5 years post trade experience in a heavy industry environment
- Previous experience in maintenance planning / housing maintenance / procurement is preferable
- Knowledge or experience in construction or building maintenance will be an added advantage
- Computer literate - (MS - Office) package
- SAP & COUPA experience
- Valid Driver’s license and own transport

**JOB OBJECTIVES**

**In this role you will be responsible**
**to the Superintendent (Projects) for**:

- Managing maintenance of the company houses
- Inspect and examine housing buildings and equipment to detect and find irregularities or faults and malfunctions
- Maintenance (repair and replacing) of minor housing equipment’s or machines or parts
- Managing vendors or contractors and ensuring that the quality management processes are adhered to
- Regular compliance inspections at the allocated houses i.e. (pre, in and out inspections)
- Handle housing requests, complaints, and queries
- Work with the local municipalities, local government, and other statutory bodies on housing related issues
- Manage budget control
- Work order management
- Critical spares management, ensure teamwork and attend to breakdowns
- Planned maintenance system inspection
- Time and attendance checks and sign off
- Safety systems compliance
- Supervision
- Maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers
- Ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations
- Maintain good record - keeping
- Monthly reporting
- Correct implementation of the company policies and procedures
- Coordinate departmental vehicle regarding repairs, service, fuelling facilities and inspection reports
- Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by management
