The role of the Choir Treasurer within the Red Lights Choir is fundamental to the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. This position requires a meticulous and tech-savvy individual capable of managing financial transactions, maintaining transparency, and ensuring responsible spending.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, meticulously documenting both income and expenditures.

2. Bank Account Management:
Safeguard the financial well-being of the choir by maintaining a healthy and transparent bank account.

3. Compliance:
Adhere to transparent and legal financial procedures, ensuring all financial activities align with relevant regulations.

4. Tech Proficiency:
Utilize technology efficiently for the effective control and tracking of financial movements.

5. Spending Oversight:
Ensure responsible spending practices are upheld, adhering to the choir's financial guidelines.

6. Monthly Financial Reporting:
Provide comprehensive monthly reports on the choir's financial state to the committee/Directors.

7. Receipt and Documentation Management:
Keep meticulous records of receipts and paperwork for all expenses incurred.

8. Fundraising Initiatives:
Devise and implement fundraising initiatives to secure additional financial resources for the choir.

Effectively manage any debts incurred by the choir, overseeing repayments and ensuring financial stability.

11. Collaboration with Finance Director:
Work closely with and report to the Finance Director, ensuring alignment with broader financial strategies.

Basic Skills Required:
1. Financial Management:
Proficiency in managing financial records, transactions, and budgets.

2. Tech Savviness:
Ability to leverage technology for efficient financial control and management.

3. Communication:
Clear and concise communication skills for reporting to committee/Directors and collaborating with the Finance Director.

4. Organizational Skills:
Meticulous organization of receipts, paperwork, and financial documents.

**Job Type**: Part-time
