Essential Health Pharmacy Group is recruiting for an IT Technician. This role will involve a combination of IT infrastructure, systems management and networking. The position is based at our Head Office in Brackenfell.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Install and configure IT equipment: Computers, laptops, laying of network cables, install of IP Phones, installation and configure of IP-CCTV camera’s
- Maintain computer networks
- Creating firewalls and update virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate network issues to employees and management
- Maintain current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
- End user support
- Monitoring of software solutions
- Troubleshooting of software issues and end-user problems
- Software integration and associated infrastructure support
- On site network support
- Ensure the alignment of technology and business objectives
- Keep abreast of latest technology and process improvements with focus on continuous improvement
- Ensure efficient and cost effective BAU support is delivered to the customer in line with the business objectives
- Microsoft Server Management
- Engage frequently with the pharmacies to maintain awareness of expectations and service delivery experiences
- Ad hoc responsibilities as required to support the operational requirements of the pharmacies and central office
- Travelling between pharmacies from time-to-time

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Completed IT related National Diploma (required)
- Advanced skills in using Microsoft products especially Excel (required)
- IT Degree (Desirable)
- ITIL V3 Certified (Desirable)
- 3-5 years in a similar role (Desirable)
- Linux (Desirable)
- Knowledge of Unisolve Pharmacy program (Desirable)
