**Telesales Clerk**

**ROLE PURPOSE**

To market and sell media products and services to new and existing customers through telephonic contact.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

**RESPONSIBILITIES **include the following.
- Other duties may be assigned. _
- To make outbound calls to potential clients.
- Establish and maintain contact with new customers.
- To educate potential customers on product portfolios.
- Maintain accurate client information in the customer database.
- Source new business/ upsell in portfolios.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE**:

- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. _
- B-qualification in Customer Service Management/Customer Relationship Marketing/ Sales/ Marketing Management.
- At least 3 years solid experience in an outbound call centre/retail sales environment.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must pay attention to detail.
- Must be a team player.
- Must have business acumen and be able to communicate at all levels.
- Must be highly computer literate.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
- Good communication skills, and the understanding of client engagement, needs analysis.
- Good telephone etiquette.
- Target orientated and driven towards. (telephone calls, numbers, and figures).
- Effective planning to achieve monthly, weekly and daily targets (Telephone calls).
