**Vacancy: Senior EPU Manager**

**Purpose of the Job**

Carry out the test of trains in accordance with the testing procedure and as per the delivery schedule and/or contribute to test procedures and troubleshooting. Ensure timely execution and respect of EHS requirements. Manage test technicians and asses the team performance

**Key responsibilities include the following**:

- Respect and promote strict compliance with EHS rules, local regulation and AZDP
- Deploy standard T&C processes
- Conduct employee’s performance appraisals
- Provides scheduled project updates and other metrics related to program test status.
- Contribute to T&C management team
- Ensure management and coordination of a work team
- Ensure a good working relationship with the other departments (Eng., Industr, Q, Supply Chain)
- Provide technical support and expertise to serial testing team
- Engage actively in own abroad training
- Contribute strongly to local recruitment and training of T&C team as well as to subsequent ramp-up
- Other job functions as required by management
- Ability to work shifts (day or Night) and flexible to alternate.
- Manage serial testing team organization
- Manage training and accreditation of T&C staff
- Ensure timely execution of serial testing and associated troubleshooting
- Lead troubleshooting
- Ensure delivery of proper documentation after test execution
- Executes defined test procedures and develops test procedures to cover defined gaps in testing.
- Completes the gathering, recording and test specific information
- Develop appropriate risk analysis, mitigation plan and associated EHS procedures
- Ensure the timely deployment of test procedures, tools, infrastructure
- Ensure proper operation follow-up and establishment of relevant KPI
- Ensure strict compliance with EHS rules and regulations within testing workshop and dynamic test track
- Train Manager/Driving ( If qualified and certified)
- Operates the train on the Test Track
- Ensure respect of EHS and Test Track safety Instructions
- Ensure the Safety of the Testing team and of the Train while operating on the Test Track

**Requirements**:

- BSc /B-Tech/N Dip (Electrical/Electronics)
- Msc will be advantageous
- Be familiar with high risk activities in association with Electrical work and EHS requirements
- Have a good understanding of key electrical and/or mechanical processes (in particular earthing & bonding, cabling, protection and instrumentation,)
- A solid understanding of power electronics will be beneficial
- IT proficient
- Ability to integrate across multi-disciplinary electrical activities (MV, Control & Instrumentation, Protection, Software)
- Organized, rigorous and delivery focused (good problem solver)
- Ability to manage a team of specialists or test technicians
- Flexible and willing to accept new roles
