A Well-established manufacturing / engineering firm has an opportunity for an experienced Storeman to join their team out on Garsfontein Road, Pretoria-East area.

Minimum requirements:

- Matric
- 2+ years’ experience within the same or similar role
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering and/or armed forces industry
- SAGE or Pastel (Palladium) is beneficial
- Driver’s License and travelling will be required
- Working hours: Monday - Friday - 07:30 - 16:15
- Ability to drive a forklift would be beneficial

Duties will be, but are not limited to:

- Housekeeping in stores
- Receipting of goods according to purchase orders
- Issuing of goods as requested
- Handing out and collecting back tools
- Inspection of incoming goods according to purchase order
- Packing of goods in store
- Allocating bin locations in stores
- Ensuring availability of consumables and fasteners
- Record stock movements
- Stock takes and control of stock
- Improvements in stocking methods
- Update stock lists
- Capturing goods received on Pastel
- Moving heavy pallets and goods using a forklift
