**JOB PURPOSE**

To facilitate classroom-based courses and training interventions and oversee compliance to the standards, processes and procedures, quality assurance and competence.

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED.**
- Grade 12, any qualification related to Training facilitation, design, or adult education.
- 3-5 Years Training facilitation and design/development experience within the Quick service/Franchisee environment.
- 3-5 Years working experience within the Hospitality or Retail industry (KFC/QSR experience preferred).
- Driver’s License and Computer literacy.
- Supervision, presentation, and communication skills.

**Classroom Trainer/ Facilitator for identified Training interventions/Courses ARM, RGM,**

**Management Trainee and AC**:

- Align, schedule classroom-based Management Training Interventions / Courses (Roos Tools, 5 points and success routines) as per annual / quarterly training calendar (Yum LTO/Window, Roos specific training activities / events, refresher, or re-certification) for Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Management Trainee and Area Coach level.
- Prepare materials and training rooms / venues for training event/s.
- Facilitate courses, workshops, and training events as per required curriculum sequence and specified training methodology.
- Conduct all assessment and or moderation processes as required by course or event:

- Closely following and enforcing assessment / moderation processes and regulations.
- Confirm competence and communicate outcome (pass/fail, re-direction, and proposed action plans to address non-competence)
- Oversee the drafting and implementation of a training plan / schedule for Management Trainees:

- Onboarding.
- Deployment.
- Required re-certification or refresher training.

**Competency Sign-off on Benched Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Management Trainee and Area Coach**:

- Plan and initiate competency sign-off process:

- Request and obtain Development Record from Vault Ambassador.
- Schedule and communicate assessment date with Operations (RGM and Area Coach) and conduct assessment.
- Communicate assessment outcome to RGM, Area Coach and Regional Coach.
- Where required raise training gaps and agree on action plan to close, follow up on action plan execution and plan for re-assessment.
- Confirm outcome to Vault Ambassador to assign “badge” and generate certification certificate.

**Training Compliance and Quality assurance via Moderation on Management Level for ARM, RGM, Management Trainee and Area Coach**
- Oversee in-store / area training for compliance, quality, and competence to required standards and process/procedure as prescribed by the training framework.

- Management Trainee - days or per agreed planner/schedule.
- Area Coach.

**Yum LTO/Window and Project Specific Training - Train The Trainer (TTT)**
- Attend all required Master Train The Trainer sessions to obtain accreditation / certification to act as Train The Trainer for required Yum LTO/Window and specific Project based training for ARM, RGM, Management Trainee and Area Coach.
- As per roll-out / implementation plan, plan/update for TTT sessions.
- Ensure required resources are available for TTT sessions.
- Execute and report as per agreed plan and method.

**Course review and design**
- Assist Training Manager with engagement with relevant stakeholders to obtain or review training needs and requirements:

- Setting-up and facilitating needs analysis process/es to establish needs and requirements.
- Review current training material and identify necessary updates/amendments.
- Draft / design training material to meet requirement.
- Prepare for and present for approval and sign-off.
- Run test/pilot sessions to validate material impact, achievement of learning outcomes and assessment method.
- Update and ensure proper version control processes to ensure correct training material

being used or deployed.
- Setting up TTT sessions for master trainers where required.
- Set up and implement an annual/quarterly material review process to review current training material in use, propose updates/amendments were identified and engage with relevant stakeholders for design/updates/amendment and approval.
- Implement / roll-out the updated material and master TT.

**Facilities Management**
- Manage and co-ordinate the use of training facilities (Middleburg, Nelspruit, Orkney, and Roos Hotel):

- Ensure that all venues are in good order and raise any maintenance issues to Training

Manager for resolution.
- Ensure all training resources or equipment is available and in good working order and raise any issues with Training Manager for resol
