Our reputable **Oil & Gas** client that is based in Cape Town is seeking a skilled **Sales Analyst** to join their team.

The Sales Analyst will be responsible for improving the sales performance by providing comprehensive, meaningful, and insightful reports to management. Be the custodian for customer pricing updates and profitability analysis of the organization. You will also be responsible to conduct analyses on the overall profitability of the business as well as in-depth analysis on specific segments of the business.

**Salary**: R30 000 - R40 000 per Month CTC

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, BCom, Strategy, Finance
- Good degree of confidence with financial and numerical analysis.
- High computer literacy SAP, Advanced Excel and Power BI non-negotiable.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to present and defend a position in front of an audience.
- Self-starter with initiative and able to manage own time to achieve goals.
- Ability to work in a team - proven cross-functionality skills.

**Responsibilities**:
Sales Analysis and reporting
- Undertake detailed data collection and analysis on a range of internal and external data to inform senior management decision-making.
- Collation of data and analysis of same for monthly management reporting
- Weekly monitoring of sales volumes and margins and budget and compilation of weekly report for management
- Compilation of VCS (Variable Compensation Scheme) for the sales team on a quarterly basis.
- Undertake the compilation of the yearly LPG budgeted volumes.
- Prepare post-implementation analysis of various sales projects
- Accurately update the feasibility analysis and upload on sharepoint for use by the sales team
- Monthly profitability analysis per customer and recommend corrective actions
- Ensuring that strategies and strategic ideas are implemented, monitored, reviewed, and communicated efficiently.
- Execute and lead analytical activities to support sales team to drive efficiency and effectiveness
- Collation of data and analysis of same for monthly business review / management reporting Dashboard and Highlights (Faits Marquarts)
- Monthly demand forecast update and tracking forecast accuracy and communicate to supply accordingly

Pricing
- Effectively manage customer pricing and pricing process to ensure all costs associated with customers are incorporated and recovered accordingly
- Prepare pricing files monthly for approval by NSMM and communicate same to be loaded on the SAP system.
- Effective pricing communication to customers
- Ensure that customer pricing disputes are resolved timeously

Salsa
- Jobholder is a key user for SALSA and the link between the company and Group Salsa Team
- Effective management and use of Salsa programme (key-user)
- Provide SALSA support to the sales team

Others
- Support of strategical projects initiated by the MD and or Group

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kuils River, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (required)

**Experience**:

- LPG/Gas & Oil/Petrochemical: 1 year (preferred)
