Contract Analyst

A new opportunity for a Contract Analyst has surfaced within the Energy Industry.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/statistics or Accounting

Competencies:

- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; MS Project and Power BI and Think-Cell experience is beneficial, but not required.
- Detail orientated individual with solid analytical experience
- Strong data assimilation, analysis and hypothesis construction skills
- Assertive, driven, individual who has experience interfacing with diverse groups of people.
- Sufficient depth of knowledge to investigate, identify and resolve problems and technical issues in own function.
- Solid Commercial contract negotiation, especially Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Good supplier relationship management (SRM) skills.
- Strong working knowledge of operational accounts and budgeting processes.
- Articulate (verbal and written) with the ability to transcribe meeting recordals into effective and meaningful contract records and minutes.
- Good negotiating and presentation skills (Experience with Think-Cell will be beneficial).
- Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams.
- Solid planning/organizing and time management skills: capable of managing major projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of business processes within AGA such as Business Improvement/Safety/ERP
- Auditing experience is a benefit.
- Preparedness to take a well-reasoned stand on matters of importance.
