Telemarketing Agent

You will be responsible but not limited to:
Initiate sales with potential customers through outgoing calls

Manage large amounts of outbound calls in a timely manner as well as converting hot leads to sales

Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise

Daily generation of new business through sales

Follow communication ("scripts") when handling different topics and closing of sales

Upsell products and services

Identifying and developing new business opportunities through multiple channels including cold-calling, networking, social media and referrals

Maintaining positive and lasting client relationships

Sourcing new leads by means of referrals

Successfully converting leads into new clients

Closing deals

Reaching weekly and monthly sales targets

Contact potential and existing customers to inform them about services

Answer questions about the services or the company

Ask questions to understand customer requirements

Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed

Enter and update customer information in the database

Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales

Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information

**Qualifications**:
Matric

Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing or related adv

2- 3 Years experience working in the sales & telemarketing environment

1 Year CS experience will be adv.

Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in English & Afrikaans

Excellent selling skills (call opening, closing and objection handling)

In depth product, service and market knowledge

The patience and ability to engage customers in conversation

Good sales ability

Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects

Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection

Outstanding negotiation skills

Must be persuasive, assertive and a good negotiator

This position offers a basic salary + commission.

**Salary**: R9,000.00 - R14,000.00 per month
