**Introduction**:
**Job description**:

- Reception and delivery of employees / equipment / material to the underground operation
- Effective risk management and compliance with DMR, M&RC and client requirements
- Transmit and exchange the correct signal
- Ensure compliance to shaft operating procedures and equipment
- Ensure adherence to procedure for sensitive material
- Effective self-management and alignment with MRC values and leadership initiatives
- Compliance with SHEQ, MRC and client standards, policies, procedures and safety protocols

**Minimum requirements**:

- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent
- Onsetter/Banksman Certificate of Competence
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Sound verbal and written communication skills in English

At least 2 years’ experience as an Onsetter/Banksman in a Sinking shaft
