**Position: Payroll Clerk**

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurately process and manage payroll for our team.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related inquiries.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Assist in generating reports for management and external agencies.
- Stay informed about payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave, and non-taxable wages
- Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions
- Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or equivalent; additional accounting or related field education is a plus.
- Proficient in payroll software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.
- Pastal Payroll & HR experience
- ERS Time & Attendance experience
