Mascot Makers

We are seeking exceptional talented and creative individuals to join our team of Mascot Makers. At Mascots SA we create Custom Made Mascots for Tourism, Sports Teams, Corporate Marketing, Education, Film & TV. This position is for artists creating physical products, not digital designs. Therefore you will have had physical hands on experience in 3D fabrication, sculpting, airbrushing, and characterisation. Essentially, a good all rounder who has a creative eye, and a flair for creating unique characters from a variety of mediums. Ideally, you will come from a background of making props in theatre or film industry or model making, architecture etc. You will be joining a busy, friendly and creative environment.

Responsibilities include;
- Collaborate with our digital design team to understand client briefs.
- Construct heads, bodies and props based on the approved designs.
- Characterise using airbrushing and other artistic effects.
- Collaborate with Costume Designers.
- Complete character ready for photography, client approvals and dispatch.

**Salary**: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma (required)

**Experience**:

- 3D fabrication: 1 year (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Cape Town, Western Cape (required)
