Structural Draughtsperson

A Structural Draughtsman/woman position is open at our offices based in Heidelberg, Gauteng. Valostar Steel Construction is a steel construction company with years of experience in building quality and durable commercial steel structures for both the public and private sectors.

In this post, we are looking for a professional draughtsperson with proven experience and valid qualifications. The applicant must be willing to work without supervision, be a math whiz, a logical thinker, and have basic computer skills.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate / Diploma related to drafting
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in the field
- Hands-on experience with Tekla Structures Software is advantageous
- Familiar with 3D Modelling tools
- Good knowledge of structural steel standard and practice
- Good math skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills (MS office, etc.)
- Communication skills both verbal and written
- Willingness to work outside of normal working hours
- Neat and organized
- CNC plasma knowledge would be an advantage

Job Segment: Technical / Drawing office

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month
