The main responsibility of the role is to build and execute on the data-driven ID&E global goals, strategy and initiatives for a specific AWS businesses and a cluster of countries and hold leaders accountable to the execution of these goals and initiatives in order to transform the culture.

Working with the business leaders, ID&E Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and ID&E points of contact who support the AWS business verticals, you will lead the launch,execution and reporting of global ID&E solutions, strategies and programs in a data driven manner. In doing so, you will also be responsible for the impact they have on the businesses you support. You will design and manage programs to train, transition, and continually develop diverse talent. You will also work to ensure we are maximizing the inclusion, diversity, and equity opportunities for current employees in the geography. You will assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs as you implement on the ID&E strategyacross a flywheel in EMEA and also the country you are directly responsible for. You will report on the outcomes of the ID&E work and strive to provide transparency and accountability across the respective businesses in geo, for all of these interventions.

Key job responsibilities
The role will report into the AWS Head of ID&E (EMEA). The primary responsibilities are to:

- Build, lead and execute on the goal and data-driven global ID&E strategy for 1) a flywheel business, in partnership with the Business and HR Leaders in EMEA and 2) a cluster of countries. This will also include partnering with process owners worldwide across multiple functional groups, within the ID&E team and in the respective AWS businesses to create and land the execution of the ID&E Plan
- Coach leaders in the respective business and HR on ID&E and help build acumen on the topic and drive accountability to become a trusted advisor and transform the culture
- Design and manage programs to train, transition, and continually develop diverse talent, including influencing ID&E for loop participants, Bar Raisers, Managers and other leadership roles.
- Report on ID&E metrics and reporting, including government reporting and returns on investment on programs and interventions
- Work with the communications team to develop a communication plan for leaders
- Lead specific new/existing internal projects and/or cadence within the ID&E team to have impact across multiple geographies
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ID&E principles and jurisdictions across EMEA
- Demonstrated experience building and executing successful programs
- Experience leading large scale change management initiatives
- Business acumen, analytical skills, reliability and sound judgment
- Proven ability to influence without authority and lead strategic priorities through to results
- Proven ability to think strategically and work across multiple territories, entities and lines of business
- Demonstrated program management experience
- Has demonstrated comfort and confidence in dealing with ambiguity and leading through change
- Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage high-volume workload and complex priorities
- Ability to build consensus and relationships at all levels of the organization
