**Principal Technical Officer in the Department of Zoology and Entomology**

**Requirements**:
A relevant Higher Certificate (NQF 5) / Diploma (an NQF 6 qualification would be preferable and an advantage) plus approximately 3 year's relevant experience where such experience includes:

- At least 1 year’s supervision experience or be in possession of a supervision certificate.
- Previous experience in welding, fitting and turning would be an advantage.
- Previous experience and or proven ability in technical design will be an advantage.
- Previous experience and/or proven ability in vehicle maintenance and repair will be an advantage
- Previous experience and/or proven ability in electronics will be an advantage.
- Previous experience in health and safety will be an advantage
- Previous experience in woodwork will be an advantage.
- Must be in possession of a valid code 08 driver’s license for at least a minimum of two years.

**Remuneration (Grade 12)**:
**Basic Salary Provident Fund: R 406 500**

**Cost to Company Approximately: R 546 454**
