Sample Shop Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Sample Shop Assistant at our Support Centre in Kuilsriver. The successful applicant will need to have excellent communication skills, high energy levels, maximize sales by delivering effective customer service, merchandising of goods and cashier duties.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Provide excellent customer service to give customer a great shopping experience.

2. Cashier duties:

- Process cash and card payments
- Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor
- Till balancing

3. Merchandising: Ensure that stock is correctly priced and displayed

4. General housekeeping

5. Be on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent activities and report any suspicious behavior to Management.

6. Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Sample Shop Supervisor

**Experience**:

- Previous retail experience would be advantageous
