Handyman

Our client, a 5-star establishment is looking for an experienced Handyman to join their establishment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a handyman, preferably within a hospitality or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects when needed.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform general maintenance and repairs within the facility, including guest rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Address and resolve maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inspect and maintain equipment, fixtures, and appliances to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Conduct routine checks to identify potential safety hazards and address them promptly.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of events and functions.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth operation and positive guest experience.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and supplies used.
- Occasionally assist in light plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry projects.
