**Requirements**:

- Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients
- Must have have proven client database within the wholesale tile business
- Have knowledge of competitors in the tile industry
- Have knowledge of customers needs in the tile industry
- Be able to service current customers by adding value on how to grow the business
- Have listening skills, not interrupting but retaining information provided
- Have knowledge of the market and territory through market trends and promotions
- Initiate Sales and up sell to the customers.
- Ability to close sales by obtaining the commitment from the customer.
- Be able to expand existing business by increasing portfolio and quantities of the product range.
- Ability to grow the business by signing up new outlets.
- Knowledge of tiles is essential, and must be able to reach monthly set target
- Be able to absorb and retain information provided.
- Identifying problems within the assigned region and act productively and proactively to resolve them.
- Be adaptable to new environments
- Must be able to work independently
- Plan and execute objectives.
- 3-5years’ experience as a Sales Representative essential
- Own, reliable vehicle and a valid Driver’s License
- Fluent in English

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Working closely with the sales manager to implement and drive the sales strategy.
- Spearheading our business development and expansion efforts.
- Achieving growth objectives through effective sales and deliberate execution.
- Experienced Sales Representative responsible for establishing relationships with new and existing clients and growing an existing client base within respective regions.
- Maintain a high level of field sales activities and cold calling to build your book of business, including identifying and connecting with prospective clients.
- Responsible for managing client accounts including age analysis, statements and money outstanding.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to drive sales and keep clients informed of current products.
- Provide feedback on product solutions and availability to deliver more value on service
- Submitting daily reports to management

**Package & Remuneration**

Market related salary negotiable based on specific experience, skills, and qualifications.

**Benefits**:Allowances

Pay: R24,500.00 - R30,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
