We are looking for a self-motivated individual with proven experience and knowledge in operating a Reach Truck to move merchandise and materials around the warehouse. Here is your opportunity to shine within a challenging role where you can grow.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate the lifting equipment to move stock around the warehouse.
- Operate the equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of any trucks, trailers and / or containers.
- Ensure that all materials moved is stored / stacked in the appropriate manner as prescribed in our SOPs.
- Daily inspection of equipment and perform minor preventative maintenance.
- Taking ownership of the assigned equipment to ensure that it is maintained and used in an appropriate manner.
- Manually load or unload stock on pallets.
- Ensure equipment is returned to the designated location.
- When not operating the lifting equipment you may be assigned to any other distribution duties as required by the supervisor or manager.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Matric or equivalent qualification would be advantageous
- Ideally a valid / appropriate material moving equipment license.
- Proven track record in successfully operating a Reach Truck in an around a DC.
- Extensive experience in operating Reach truck at 13,5m heights (Traceable references)
