About the position
Clariter is developing its global activities, and our growing team is looking for a hands-on and experienced Mechanical Technician. As a valuable member of our team, you will execute repairs to all mechanical equipment to secure continuity of production of our plant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting daily inspections and executing preventative maintenance activities of running machinery as per the service schedule
- Performing routine repairs on defective mechanical equipment
- Reading and interpreting schematic drawings
- Conducting risk assessments
- Training and development of the assistants
- Removing, installing, and commissioning mechanical equipment
- Conducting route course analysis
- Identifying critical spares
- Housekeeping.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 and N4, Trade Testing in mechanical engineering
- 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Computer literacy
- Mechanical skills
- An open-minded and positive character
- Ability to work independently and in a group
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
