We are looking for a Storekeeper at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) to join our team based out at Loeriesfontein Wind Farm, South Africa.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Accepting incoming goods and compares them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity)- Checking incoming goods for visible damage, documents them and provides the information if required- Taking care for correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, forklift, etc.)- Arranging the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area and records them in the appropriate systems- Assembling deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy (e.g., quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes)- Completing packaging of deliveries having regard to shipping instructions, common methods of dispatch, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g., Dangerous Goods) in the given framework and adding the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods- Completing transports inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation

What you need to make a difference

A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for- Experienced Storekeeper/Material Handler with minimum educational qualification of Matric- Must be computer literate with SAP experience- Experience in shipment invoicing, make arrangements for incoming and outgoing shipments, capturing stock movement- Organizing regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area and capturing relevant data in data processing systems- Valid Driver’s License
