**Skills and experience**

The minimum skills and experience required by the incumbent:

- Must have matric certificate
- Must have excellent communication and customer skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Previous experience on Easy POS would be an advantage
- Must have a minimum of 6 months relevant experience within a professional restaurant / 4/5* Hotel.
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to operate a computer
- Ability to do physical challenging jobs
- Physically fit to stand on feet for long periods
- Phenomenal attitude, zest for life and growth

Any other tasks that management may reasonably request you to do from time to time.

**Key performance areas**
- Meet and greet guests
- Set up of restaurant including place settings, buffet service gear, waiter stations, ensure all surfaces are clean.
- Clean restaurant as required.
- Break down and clean all areas of the restaurant and bar after service.
- Preparation of mice en place; napkin folds, polished cutlery, polished glassware, salt and pepper shakers replenished, flowers where appropriate are fresh, crockery is clean
- Present menus with introduction of offering, highlight exceptional dishes including, specials of the day
- Take accurate orders from guests and ensure timely delivery thereof
- Generate, present and receipt bill
- Clear tables as per SOP
- Assist in the counting of bar inventories.
- Assist with operating equipment and stock takes.
- Assist in preparing for and counting of operating stocks and equipment.
- Clean restaurant and toilets when there is nobody on duty to do so, and discreetly clean any spills that happen during service
- Adhere to team-members hand-book, all company policies and SOP’s as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Part-time hours: 63 per week

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Durbanville, Western Cape (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Durbanville, Western Cape: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
