**Purpose of the role**

Responsible for ensuring compliance of and product development to company quality management, client and technical data pack requirements.To provide and impart technical input relevant to area of expertise and accountability and to ensure the monitoring and maintenance of Quality Assurance (QA) standards by both internal and external stakeholders.

**Key Performance Areas (KPAs)**

**Administration**
- Planning, organizing and efficient handling of administrative duties

**Quality assurance**
- Continuously assess and refine QA processes to ensure customer satisfaction

**Product development**
- Assess and develop product in-line with HomeChoice standards and requirements
- Develop product that is fit for purpose and meets the customer’s expectation

**Vendor management**
- Build and manage vendor relationships to ensure positive outcomes
- Coach and guide vendors to ensure compliance to all HomeChoice requirements

**Reporting**
- Accurate record keeping
- Effective data interpretation to facilitate reporting on trends
- Accurate reporting on relevant metrics

**Independent action**
- Demonstrate initiative
- Effective communication with all role-players across departments as well as with Vendors
- Positivity, willingness to learn and a strong ability to focus on the job at hand is key
- Flexibility and willingness to adjust and grow with the role
- Building effective and mutually beneficial relationships with internal departments
- Manage time and workload independently
- Timeous follow-up on all required aspects

**Qualifications & Accreditations**
- Tertiary qualifciation in têxtile technology, clothing management and/or fashion

**Experience & Skills**
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role in a retail merchandise environment
- Strong administrative skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel & Word)
