**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Analyse and compile weekly current trade reports, detailing sell-offs and other KPI targets variance to set plans and action plans.
- Propose and load markdowns and promotional activity accordingly.
- Continuously trading within their department (chasing what is working and cancelling what is not)
- Stock Management - track levels of stock and ensure optimal levels of stock are in stores at any given time, in order to minimise promotional and mark downs.
- Track and manage the ageing of stock to ensure the ratio of stock is always fresh and ageing are in line with company strategy.
- Ensuring that stores are fully in stock of replenishment lines and actioning consolidations of product where necessary.
- Analyse and present post seasonal reports.
- Develop seasonal strategies based on learnings from the post seasonal and current trade in order to deliver profitable sales.
- Partner with the buyer in building an assortment through providing data and analysis to support decision making
- Prepare seasonal buy-plans, financial plans, option and unit projections and pricing strategies.
- Check all order placing activities & order authorizations are completed timeously according to calendar deadline requirements.
- Collaborate with location planning team to ensure order allocations are completed timeously according to calendar deadline requirements.
- Execute various administrative items, such as management and tracking of forward orders

**Criteria**:

- Relevant University Degree/ Diploma Qualification (BSc or BCom majoring in Economics, Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Retail Business Management or Statistics).
- Minimum 3-5 years planning experience, preferably in a footwear portfolio
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Good communication skills
- Business understanding of retail, brand and product understanding, customer & retail market.
- Team player
