Technical Writer

This role forms part of our Technical Enablement team, charged with ensuring customers have access to a full range of support for the solutions they've purchased. In this role you will be required to translate complex technical information into clear, concise content aimed at both internal and external audiences. We are looking for someone with excellent writing and grammar skills and someone who is able to work independently, delivering accurate content under deadline pressure.

You'll need to:

- Create end user / administrator content for the company’s Knowledge Base, resulting in the reduction of support cases raised
- Handle user feedback and amending Knowledge Base content as required
- Liaise with Product Managers and Engineers, to understand a project’s scope including beta testing
- Liaise with other members of the Technical Enablement team, to ensure they're aware of changes that affect them
- Identify potential improvements in the Knowledge Base, to ensure legendary customer success is delivered
- Create technical internal troubleshooting content for company’s SD Wiki, resulting in faster conclusion of support cases
- Contribute to and maintain KCS
- Have excellent written English
- The ability to gather and analyze the information needs of the audience
- Strong interviewing and listening skills
- Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Managers to clarify technical issues
- Use graphics editing software
- Basic HTML editing skills
