Mascor: Creditors Clerk

Mascor is a Company consisting of franchised Automotive, agricultural mechanisation, construction, forestry and fuel. With more than 50 years in the industry, we offer prestige brands such as John Deere, Toyota and Warath while our highly skilled staff provides professional and high-quality service and standards of workmanship.
Mascor is currently looking for a Creditors clerk in Greytown KZN to process and pay supplier invoices, reconcile statements and follow up on unpaid suppliers.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Reconciliation
- Ensure that creditor reconciliations are done accurately and timeously.
- Process reconciled journals on the accounting systems.

2. Creditors
- Follow up on outstanding invoices internally and externally.
- Ensure that suppliers are paid timeously.
- Prepare spreadsheets for monthly payment runs.

3. Administration
- Capture provisions and transfer journals.
- Process invoices on the accounting systems.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
a. Qualifications:
i. Min: Grade 12

ii. Ideal: Diploma in bookkeeping.

b. Experience:
i. Experience in a similar role.

KEY COMPETENCIES
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
- Ability to calculate and manage accounting figures.
- Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills.
- Dependability
- Time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs with an emphasis on spreadsheets.
