Expeditor

**CORE PURPOSE**: Provide effective support and co-ordination to the procurement team by following up on expected deliveries.

**KEY OUTPUTS**
- Daily follow up with suppliers on back orders.
- Communicate changes in schedules and respond to order status updates.
- Maintain and update records of daily receipts.
- Ensure accurate record keeping of all equipment received.
- Maintain a friendly professional relationship with suppliers and distributors to ensure the
business is valued as a priority.
- Provide effective support and co-ordination to the procurement team by following up on
expected deliveries.
- Serve as focal point for the communication, maintenance and update of supplier delivery
commitments noted in the contract/purchase order as negotiated by the Buyer.
- Verify the supplier/contractor reported progress and ability to meet delivery obligations.
- Identify potential problems and further actions.
- Maintain a clear and open line of communication with all parties.
- Purchasing COD processes.
- Capturing of requisitions.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Grade 12.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering,
Production and process improvement would be an advantage.
- Accounting background will be an advantage.
