**Job Title**

Finance Assistant

**Summary of Role**

**(But not limited to)**

The Position purpose is to provide Accounting/payroll and HR services to LEAP (including subsidiary companies).

The role is a Junior position with plenty of protentional for growth

The role reports directly to the Head of Finance, but will also report to the CEO, where applicable.

**Responsibilities/Duties**
- All Group company Payments
- SARS Monthly, Midyear and Year End Payments
- ESS Administration (Leave Administration)
- Providing information to employee’s regarding questions about payroll related matters
- Maintaining Employee records
- Loading of new employees on the payroll system
- Exit packs of terminated employees
- HR experience (Drawing up of HR Contracts, conducting introductory interview)
- Full accounting Function to Trail Balance(Group Companies) (Advantage)
- Monthly Reconciliations of Various accounts as advised by the Finance Manager
- Capturing of Creditors (Supplier) invoices on the accounting system
- Ensuring all invoices meet SARS requirements
- Banking, including capturing and submission of payments, liaising with the bank
- Ensuring group compliance with all statutory requirements such as tax clearance etc.
- Assist with the preparation for the annual Audit
- Archiving and filing
- Manage Petty cash
- Any other Ad Hoc duties as required

Preference given to:

- Competent In electronic banking (CATS Banking)
- Accounting experience using Xero Accounting system
- Experience in HR with Labour law
- Payroll (Payspace)

**Qualifications**
- Minimum requirement: Diploma
- Relevant completed tertiary qualification - Advantage

**Package & Remuneration**
- R16 000 - R18 000 per a month CTC
