**Requirements**:

- Financial Related Degree BCom or Equivalent
- Five(5) years relevant experience Good analytical, written

and communications skills

Key Performance Areas
- Liaising with
- and advising internal stakeholders on asset

related matters to ensure effective asset management

in the City of Cape Town
- Ensuring that all assets are recorded in the fixed asset

register by analysing, evaluating and managing monthly

and year-end capitalisation
- Assisting in the development, research and implementation

of policies, strategies and assets process by ensuring that

all asset function comply with prevailing accounting

standards
- Assisting with the interpretation of new and updated

accounting standards
- Developing and maintaining appropriate reporting tools

to improve financial disclosure
- Compiling Finance reports, correspondence and

memoranda as and when required
- Co-ordinating and managing Special project
