Who We Are Looking For
The Finance Team Leader is an office based role in the Cape Town Crisis24 site, leading a team within the finance department, and responsible for the administration of Medical Assistance provider and provider payments.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills - be results orientated with the ability to work to target.
- Good PC skills, especially MS Excel.

What You Will Work On
- As the Finance Team Leader you will provide guidance and instruction to the team in regards to outstanding work, projects, and assistance with problems. Ensure all 1 to 1s, feedback, holidays, sickness, appraisals are documented and fed back where appropriate. Supervise daily activities and provide a daily update on work states to the Operations Manager, or business where required.
- From the financial controls side validates and authorise provider payments in claims/finance systems to a senior team level delegated authority. Assist with pay runs and provider payment escalations where required.
- From an overall workflow perspective, you need to ensure and maintain a 1 working day SLA on provider payments in claims/finance systems, and be point of contact within the business for escalated providers/invoices/or workflow issues. It is also essential that you oversee the quality of the outgoing reinvoicing and fees.

Who You Will Work With
- In this role you will have direct reports from the Senior Provider Support and Finance Operations Provider Support team.
- Reporting into the Finance Operation Manager, you will liaise with them in regards to feedback on any HR issues within the team, workflow and escalations, and problem solving within the providers.
- The extended team in Finance you will be working with will be Accounts Receivable and Bordereaux for credit control and funding, and the Accounts Payable specialists in charge of pay runs, banking and payment queries.

What You Will Bring
- Previous knowledge of an assistance and insurance company structure, and previous experience in finance and accounts payable is required, as well as previous team leader and supervisor experience.
- They must be able to develop excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure all communications are accurately processed within agree timescales and guidelines defined.

Information Security
Protect the data and systems of Crisis24 and its stakeholders by adhering to policies, reporting incidents and potential problems, completing regular training, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
