Are you a Disability Support Worker who can deliver a range of support services to vulnerable individuals displaying challenging behaviours and high complex needs?

Our client based in NSW, Australia is a culturally diverse and compassionate support service who are dedicated to building long-term relationships with those in need. As a full-service disability support provider, they offer comprehensive support, accommodation, and emergency care to enhance communities and alleviate hardship.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and care to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times.
- Assist clients in daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and household tasks.
- Implement personalized support plans, tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and community engagement.
- Collaborate with families, guardians, Support Coordinators, and internal departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide crisis management as required.
- Document client progress, observations, and any incidents accurately and promptly.
- Promote a nurturing and respectful atmosphere that encourages the development of life skills and social interactions.
- Support individuals in accessing community resources and activities.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in disability support or a related field.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in helping others are essential traits for this role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong rapport with clients and their support networks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a 24/7 care setting.
- Understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity, as well as the ability to adapt to varying needs and backgrounds.

**Salary**: R560,000.00 - R810,000.00 per year
