We are currently recruiting for a Blockman/Cutter to join our team. We are based in Cape Town (Southern Suburbs)
- Receiving, checking, inspecting and storing meat, meat products and carcasses upon delivery
- Fridge and freezer management - ensuring that all meat is stored appropriately and at required temperatures at all times
- Processing various meats and preparing them for sale/delivery in accordance with customer or restaurant requirements ensuring quality control, consistency and accuracy at all times
- Making sausages, biltong, droewors and other value add products
- Weighing (portion control), pricing, packaging and labelling meat products ensuring accuracy at all times
- Reducing meat wastage by cutting carefully and skillfully
- Ensuring efficient production planning and regulation of workflow to ensure clients/restaurants receive their orders timeously
- Co-ordinating dispatch, delivery and of client orders (wholesale and retail)
- Maintaining records of meat inventories and on-hand supplies (sausage casings, packaging etc) and ordering of new stock as required
- Stocktaking - regularly checking stock levels and informing Manager/Owner when low
** Applicant must have SA Id and valid drivers license**
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: R5,000.00 - R8,000.00 per month
