**Requirements**:

- 5-8 years working experience within a Supply Chain environment, preferably in a planning role.
- 3-5 years people management experience.
- Demonstrate experience reducing cost or improving efficiency in previous jobs.
- Working experience within a multinational is an advantage.
- Knowledge and understanding of MRP principles.
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Engineering.
- Business qualification would be an advantage.
- SAPICS or similar courses would be an advantage.
- Attention to detail as well as good numeracy skills is essential.
- Team player, ability to collaborate across boundaries.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

**Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to**:
**Sales and Operations Planning (S and Op) Process**:

- Responsible for coordinating and steering the Sales and Operations Planning (S and OP) process.
- Ensures adherence to the outlined processes for S and OP and demand planning.
- Root-cause analysis of relevant front-end and back-end supply chain metrics and taking suitable action.
- Ensuring the completion of action items decided in S and OP meeting.

**Demand and Supply Planning**:

- Develop and execute product demand plans to meet organization goals.
- Manage demand planning and management processes for new and existing products.
- Work with sales team, customer input and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy.
- Update customer service team and sales team about product availabilities.
- Maintain inventory levels based on future customer demands.
- Identify opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply.
- Champions and drives supply chain process improvements.
- To achieve target inventory turns, material availability and NBI.
- Quarterly review of Safety stock to mitigate risk in inventory availability.
- Monthly/Weekly review of Inventory Health and the management thereof.
- Ensure ongoing reduction of slow-moving inventory and obsolescence.

**Supply Chain Management**:

- Assume day to day management of the supply chain team.
- Accountable for daily queries and delivery of output.
- Communicate any risks to leadership team.
