**Responsibilities**:

- Successful daily shipment of customer orders in alignment with the predefined targets
- Ensure for successful picking of customer orders with a zero percentage error rate
- Be accountable and responsible for all picking slips in circulation
- Ensure that all customers orders is picked and shipped within the applicable timelines
- Successful management, growth and development of the picking and packing team
- Drive and implement process optimization to ensure for maximum output
- Sufficient and successful management of the 3rd Party Logistics Service Provider
- Manage all resolve all picking errors within the predefined lead times
- Provide daily reporting on output
- Provide constructive insight and feedback if targets is not reached
- Responsible and managing of all customer shipping queries within an acceptable time frame

**Skills**:

- Ability to, efficiently, deploy the workforce to meet deadlines across the Outbound operation.
- Prioritize the workflow of picking and packing teams to meet daily targets
- Optimize planning to maximize uses of resources.
- To be able to identify deficiencies in the systems and processes and be able to identify and articulate changes that will improve the efficiency of the outbound operation.
- Understand key performance drivers.
- Know how to manage each KPI and understand the effects on performance.
- Ensure the team understands and is focused on KPIs.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of a matric or equivalent (Degree in Logistics or equivalent will be advantageous).
- 3-5 years of warehouse experience, of which 2 should ideally be in Outbound or Dispatch
- Applicant must have good organizational skills
- The ability to motivate a team of people.
- Able to keep reports and statistics.
- Proficient on Google Drive - Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.
- Performance-driven, ability to handle pressure and be able to meet strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy and precision.
- Self-organisation, coordination, prioritisation, follow up and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assertive, confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate staff.
- Willingness to work overtime from time to time as mutually agreed.
