**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**
- You must be comfortable translating wireframes into designs on a daily basis as that will be the core of your work.
- Ability to translate designs into prototypes.
- Assisting with testing to ensure that UI/UX standards are adhered to.
- Ability to create visual designs and prototypes.

**Experience**
- A strong focus on interaction design and visual design through prototyping in an agile software development environment
- Ability to define visual elements, product elements and overall design

**Knowledge of**
- Figma (required)
- An understanding of simplified user-centered design methodologies is a must
- Interface design and technology trends and standards

**Advantageous**
- Understanding of Bootstrap and Google material design
- Understanding of Agile Practices
- An up-to-date knowledge of best practices and latest trends in mobile and web
- You are receptive to constructive criticism, is adaptable and collaborative.
- You can communicate and articulate your thoughts and ideas clearly.
- You are a team player and can work in a team environment with a collaborative spirit.
- You engage with fellow team members.
- You have a user-centric mindset and are dedicated to solving problems.
- You can work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- The ability to work with engineering, frontend, and backend developers as needed

**Skills**
- Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 National Certificate
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Design or equivalent
