Pharmacist (Locum)

Kensington Pharmacy is nestled in the heart of Durban North and has been servicing the community for decades. The pharmacy is expanding and is on the search for a highly energized, friendly Pharmacist to join the team

**Duties**:

- Performs duties of a Pharmacist as per SAPC guidelines based on GPP SA.
- Interpretation, evaluation and dispensing of prescriptions as per the scope of practice of a pharmacist.
- Providing safe, effective and affordable pharmaceutical services.
- Providing basic blood glucose and blood pressure monitoring, testing, and advice where and when necessary (when the nurse is not at the pharmacy).
- Ordering of medication when needed.
- Advising / counselling patients on medication.
- Assist with stock take when needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or higher
- Unisolve experience

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 14 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban North, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- dispensary: 1 year (preferred)

- Night Shift (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)
