Seeking a Graduate to take part in a 12 month Yes4Youth internship where you would be based at an NGO that work with children who have life threatening illnesses. Intern will be responsible for crafting communications across different mediums for the organisation.

**Duties**:

- Draft communications for the organization.
- Edit and proofread content.
- Support the creation of marketing collateral.

**Minimum Qualifications and Experience**:

- Matric
- Diploma in Journalism, Communications, English, Creative Writing, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1 + years in experience in similar role, either in a professional, internship, or freelance capacity,
- Competencies and skills

**Competencies**:

- High levels of communication (presentations, verbal, and written communication).
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Understanding of the media landscape in South Africa.
- Creative thinking.
- Experience with different writing styles and formats, including social media, press releases, blogs, marketing materials, and editorial content, is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Time management.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: R5 500,00 per month
