**Your daily activities as an SEO Technical Team Lead will be**:

- Carry out regular site audits (content, technical, link profile) and make recommendations for optimizing the site.
- Make on-page recommendations based on keyword research, working closely with the PPC, development & content teams.
- Support the development team with website launches and migrations (redirect strategies, content migration, crawl-budget optimization).
- Understand best practice International SEO techniques and implementation
- Conduct competitor analysis and insights. (link strategies, on page and content) In-depth backlink analysis and auditing processes.
- Plan and execute digital marketing activities to achieve agreed KPIs.
- Review SEO performance across key metrics and other key indicators such as ranking and visibility.
- Support in the management of Admirals own digital marketing strategy, ensuring the roadmap milestones and KPIs are met.
- Maintain detailed monthly reporting documents to monitor and communicate SEO performance.
- Work closely with the heads of department and account managers to formulate SEO roadmaps and strategies for internal use.
- Contribute to pitches and review campaign performance.
- Analyze and understand complex SEO issues or needs to produce simple explanations and specific action plans that support our SEO strategy
- Fulfillment of reporting and interpreting data into meaningful analysis that can lead to decisions by our SEO Account Strategists and client-side teams
- Support Account Strategists during reporting presentations by answering technical questions from clients
- Optimize all technical aspects of our website for maximized indexing and keyword relevance
- Keep pace with SEO, search engine, and internet marketing industry trends and developments and report changes (and subsequent strategy updates) as needed
- Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from internal teams, to push for technical SEO best practices
- Use a variety of tools to monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, competitors, and link profiles for clients
- Maximize organic traffic growth for clients, ensuring that modern SEO techniques are properly and consistently implemented
- Promote and foster analytical skills for all team members
- Analytics: 1- Validate data integrity in Google Analytics and other platform, 2- Fulfill client Monthly Dashboards & Quarterly Reports, 3- Fulfill one-off analysis and reporting to inform Strategy and Editorial teams
- Complete Technical SEO Audits
- Setup and configuration of WordPress plugins

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in an technical SEO role (in-house or agency).
- Be able to demonstrate your role in search traffic growth from a current/previous position.
- Good working knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Tag Manager and SEO tools like Screaming Frog, Deep Crawl Semrush, AHREFS, etc.
- Experience in reporting back to stakeholders, making recommendations for improvements and provide rationale behind those recommendations.
- Basic understanding of common web technologies (HTML/CSS, JS Libraries, PHP, Python, etc).
- Understanding of browser-based development tools (Lighthouse, Data layers, Tag Assistant, etc).
- Knowledge of other marketing activities that impact SEO performance.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel for processing data.
- Willingness to learn about other areas in the marketing mix and how digital fits together
- Extensive experience (and proficiency) with Webmaster Tools and Go
