**Job Title: Senior Sales Representative - Lenasia - JHB**

**Job Summary / Purpose**:
A Senior Sales Representative (SSR) contributes towards the achievement of a regional target as well as a global target as determined by the plant capacity and the customer base. The SSR drives to achieve their determined target and develop and maintain successful relationships with customers. The Incumbent will grow the customer base and contribute to the sales team to achieve this objective. The person will also be responsible to represent and further the brand and marketing initiatives to enable further brand recognition and support existing and new marketing strategies.

**Primary duties**
- Drawing up, submitting, and following up on quotations to clients.
- Forecast a weekly sales plan
- Attend a fixed Friday meeting at the company offices where the employee shall report on the actual activities against the forecasted plan for the week and present a forecasted plan for the following week.
- Complete comprehensive sales reports and work in progress per customer.
- Full servicing of all clients and managing of all client queries when required.
- Handling quotation requests, credit requests, quotation, and account approvals.
- Drafting all other documents and/or reports as may be necessary or requested.
- Marketing administration.
- Providing information in respect of marketing intelligence.
- Providing research in respect of feasibility studies.
- Conducting surveys as and when directed.
- Assisting with product research and development.
- Secure consistent orders and client base to meet targets.
- Ensure consistent communication with the office and clients
- Any other reasonable instruction relating to the sales function and the improvement of sales related targets and the administration thereof

**Education and Experience**

Proven Experience as a salesperson in a similar industry Proven track record of high-performance sales Experience in marketing and branding initiatives.

MS office - Advanced (Word, excel and Powerpoint)

Excellent negotiating skills

Available to travel as required.

Preferred own vehicle and able to attend regular office visits in the South of Johannesburg

Relevant qualification in sales or marketing

Preferably from a manufacturing industry

Must have a qualification or at minimum 5+ years in the sales industry.

Experience in securing supply agreements with national and corporate accounts

Experience with cross border business and clients

Preferably existing relationships and network with decision makers within corporate clients and multi nationals
