Maintenance Supervisor

Health & Safety statutory compliance, external audit training and maintenance of effective housekeeping and image on site
- Issuing of permits to contractors and workers on site whilst supervising tasks are done safely and to standards conforming to the health and safety act
- Plant operations efficiency and availability (95%)
- Plant and Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and coordinate root cause analysis in machine failure.
- Provide timeous feedback to management with regards to project status and identify non-conforming equipment
- Implement leading mechanical maintenance design and safety concepts for continuous improvement.
- Adhere to all aspects of QMS programme
- Establishing and maintain lasting relationships with key suppliers
- Monitor inventory of consumables, equipment and critical spares
- Supervise and manage team performance to achieve work unit objectives (individual and team)

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Artisan qualification (Mechanical Engineering/Fitter)
- Min of 3-5 years proven industry experience in plant maintenance, of which at least 2 years has been in a leadership/senior position
- Computer and financial Literacy
- Valid driver’s license
