WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The main purpose of the NDT Technician II is to provide quality support and specialized Technical NDT Services to the Quality department at RDM Boskop in order to achieve the Business Plan.
- Able to perform various types of NDT, Radiograph Ultrasonic and liquid Penetrant.
- Ensure effective segregation of any non-conforming products.
- Maintain inspection database and measurement requirements of the facility.
- Ensure best practice techniques are properly and consistently utilized for dimensional inspection activities.
- Conduct measurement capability studies on processes employed.
- Monitor calibration status and maintain systems records.
- Ensure compliance to applicable legal and company systems requirements and maintain traceability.
- Ensure compliance of final product concerning x ray inspection specification.
- Support RDM by taking part in investigations and attending to special requests in terms of NDT
inspection.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Matric Grade 12 with NDT, RT Level II.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in NDT inspection.
- Exposure and understanding of ISO 9001:2015 will be an added advantage.
- Good fault finding and trouble shooting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and shift pattern.
- Self-motivated, good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate (MS office packages)
