Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff
- Attend to all housekeeper queries in a timeous manner and escalate to Management where required
- Provide regular updates to Management regarding the housekeepers
- Inspection of housekeepers daily (Check their uniform is correct and they must be always neat and presentable)
- Inspect ALL work done by housekeepers to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met and provide them with additional instructions where appropriate
- Investigating and addressing complaints related to poor housekeeping service
- Training of housekeepers on cleaning tasks
- Overseeing housekeepers’ performance on a daily basis
- Performing cleaning duties in instances of staff shortage
- Assist in housekeeper interviews as and when required
- Attend to onboarding/offboarding of housekeepers as and when required
- Assist in the disciplinary related processes of housekeepers as and when required
- Do admin related tasks as and when required
- Conduct hygiene checks throughout the entire property with a check list
- Setting and styling the home in a meticulous manner
- Do stock take of all cleaning supplies/equipment/materials, household/family medication and toiletries as and when required
- Ordering of all cleaning supplies/equipment /materials, household/family medication and toiletries as and when required
- Ensure housekeepers treats the items in the household with utmost care and limited breakages should occur
- Assist with the preparation of shopping lists
- Assisting with staff rosters and cleaning rosters
- Assist with laundry management
- Organization of closets and the entire home
- Participate in large cleaning projects as and when required
