**Assistant Winemaker**
- DESCRIPTION
Cellarmaster.
- SKILLS_
- A relevant tertiary qualification in oenology and/or viticulture.
- Minimum 3 years harvest, winemaking or vineyard experience.
- Detailed understanding of vineyard practices and ensure effective communication flow between the vineyard and cellar.
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision (self-starter).
- Sound people and time management skills.
- Own transport, willing to work irregular hours.
- Punctuality and attendance reliability essential.

TASKS
- Coordinating and supervising harvest activities and winemaking processes.
- Coordinate and oversee seasonal vineyard practices.
- Blending, sampling and stabilization of wines.
- Managing and updating QC, IPW, WIETA systems and H&S standards.
- Oversees bottling run processes

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Franschhoek, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
